Move forward as a Forwarding Agent Airfreight Healthcare at DSV in Schiphol

With your work experience in a role as freight forwarder, export employee, or freight forwarder, you can manage our logistical air freight flows like no other. These are often time-critical air freight shipments and we are looking for someone who is in control and takes responsibility. Together with your colleagues, you ensure that these goods are transported quickly and in the right way, under the strict requirements of the customer. That’s what you do!

You get it done

Thanks to your efforts, the time-critical healthcare products of our customer arrive at their destination as agreed. You understand the necessity of timely delivery and act accordingly. This is important because it involves medication, vaccination, or other pharmaceutical products. You have daily contact with large international key accounts about orders that you process into export shipments. Missing details? You notice these and dare to take the initiative to contact our customers. You do everything possible to get the shipment to its destination as quickly and accurately as the customer desires. And, of course, you provide your customers with the latest updates. Clients find a reassuring partner in you because you have meticulously managed the shipment and information provision. Together with your colleagues, you ensure a satisfied relationship so that for the next shipment, DSV is top of mind for this customer. You contribute to this.

How do you do this? By providing constant updates to the customer and closely collaborating with airlines, carriers and agencies. You find the most suitable logistical solution for our customer. With your drive, knowledge and work experience, you stand firmly and deliver expertise. You achieve this by:

  • processing orders in Cargowise and converting them into export shipments;
  • timely booking of shipments with (road) carriers, airlines, and carriers;
  • providing updates to your customers about the status of the shipment, by phone and email;
  • monitoring the shipments and ensuring timely delivery, troubleshooting in case of problems;
  • meeting the agreements you have made with the customer and periodically providing them with the achieved KPIs.

Your team at DSV stands out for its ambition, drive, and warm bond with each other. Is it busy and hectic? We step in and help each other. It’s a team effort!
