In Haps, where we serve our logistic services for our client in advanced nutrition products, quality is of paramount importance, including HACCP and various ISO standards. This is a relatively new location with new colleagues and fantastic challenges, and you are part of it! 

How you do this? As warehouse manager, you organize the execution and optimisation of the logistics process within our warehouse. You do this on the basis of the strict production standards, time and quality requirements and established procedures and rules. As warehouse manager, you and your team are responsible for all inbound, storage, outbound and value-added activities for our customers. You do all this within an innovative environment and help build the future of our customer and your team. In the role of warehouse manager, you report directly to the operations manager and manage an average of 1 to 3 warehouse supervisors and/or team leaders and indirectly an average of 40 warehouse employees. 

You will achieve this by:

• organizing logistics activities of your own department in consultation with fellow departments;
• monitoring the implementation of the logistics processes and adjusting where necessary;
• providing management information based on targets discussed in advance;
• supervising the qualitative and quantitative execution with the emphasis on quality and security requirements, and taking the appropriate measures in case of deviations;
• conducting performance and assessment interviews.

You bring

• a passion for logistics and the ability to share this to others;
• be able to maintain an overview and have a solution-oriented attitude;
• have at least 4 years of managerial experience within a logistics 3PL environment;
• communication skills at all levels in at least English (verbal and written).
