As a part of the preparation for the Olympic Games 2024, we would like to share the upcoming key dates, impact of the airspace, airport, and recommendation during the facility of the Olympic Games.

Key dates during Olympic Games 2024
Airspace and airport highlights
- Opening Ceremony Day: Complete closing of airspace with 150km radius of Paris from July 26th at 18:30 until Midnight.
- Delays and cancellation of flights has been announced but is subject to changes by the officials.
- 1 road-lane will be fully dedicated to officials between Paris & Charles De Gaulle Airport – Start July 15th.
- Expected difficulties to access the airport with heavy traffic during the whole period.
- Critical period from July 17th – 26th due to arrival of the officials and organization teams.
- Critical period from September 2nd – 7th due to return of the officials, organization teams and materials.
Recommendation
- We kindly ask you to anticipate and prepare as much as possible to avoid further delays due to subjected event.
- If you have forecasted shipments to/from France, please contact your local DSV office to work out possible solutions.
