Mergers and acquisitions (M&A) remain a crucial element of our strategy, and we have consistently sought to leverage and improve our service offerings and networks through a stronger global presence. The acquisition of Schenker is pivotal to DSV’s strategy, establishing us as a leading player in the industry with unique offerings for all customers.

Enabling strategic priorities:
Commercial
We aspire to accomplish profitable, above-market growth by gaining market share across our three divisions. We are continuously advancing our industry expertise to explore, understand, and solve our customers’ challenges, as well as proactively help optimise their supply chain, reliability, and sustainability.
Through our commercial strategy, we continue to enhance our offerings to our large global customers within selected industry verticals: automotive, consumer, healthcare, industrial, and technology.
We also optimise the customer journey for our small- and midsized customers by improving our digital platform, myDSV, to deliver improved customer experience, greater supply chain visibility and increased operational efficiency.
Operations
As our organisation develops, our services become more advanced. We constantly work to optimise processes to deliver operational excellence based on optimised and digitalised operations and on a global end-to-end network.
We leverage our extensive scale, implement enterprise-level solutions and collaborate to ensure standardisation of our service offerings across our network, and we centralise key functions. This way, we enable digitalisation and automation, creating high and consistent service levels, and we drive market leading profitability for the benefit of all main stakeholders.
Communication
Our stakeholder landscape expands and becomes more complex. An essential part of our strategy is therefore to maintain transparent communication and dialogue with all our stakeholders, which include employees, customers, shareholders, investors, financial analysts, media, authorities, suppliers and NGOs.
A key element in our overall strategy is to enhance our targeted communication and marketing efforts to support our commercial initiatives, our operational excellence strategy and the upcoming integration of Schenker.
With our enterprise approach, it is important to continuously cascade information to all levels of our organisation to ensure alignment around common goals and our ways of working, also as we combine the two companies. Effective, trustworthy internal communication is crucial for our strategy execution, employee engagement, retention, and attractiveness for talent.
