Job Posting Title: IT Analyst/Developer
Time Type: Full Time
The IT Analyst/Developer role involves supporting and enhancing existing proprietary web platforms. This includes full stack comprehensive analysis, as well as implementing fixes and enhancements. The IT Analyst/Developer will address platform issues and fulfill development requests. This role provides direct support for internal implementations and the assessment and development of new features. Additionally, the position requires participation in and/or management of internal projects involving multidisciplinary teams within the organization.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Participate in maintaining and enhancing existing web applications using technologies such as PHP, SQLServer, MySQL, C#, and Angular.
• Analyze, address, and resolve Level 3 support incidents.
• Develop and support RDBMS (SQLServer, MySQL, Oracle) code for related development tickets.
• Share development opinions based on experience and be open to peer feedback.
• Assist implementation and support analysts with questions regarding developed features.
• Participate in and/or manage internal implementations in collaboration with other team members and/or teams within the organization.
• Compliance to the Internal Labor Regulations and to the Human Resources Procedures.
• Compliance to Security, Safety and Hygiene Measures & Procedures.
• Follow up on the operational procedures of the area assigned.
• Other duties as required

• Perform assigned tasks to support DSV meets its objectives and targets regarding quality, health, safety and environment and follow all requirements as set out in the DSV Quality Health Safety Environment policy.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience
• 5 or more years of PHP or C# development experience.
• 3 or more years of Angular UI development.
• 5 or more years of experience with web application design and development.
• 3 or more years of experience using and developing for Relational Databases (SQLServer, mySQL, Oracle), including and not limited to creating/altering tables, Stored Procedures and Triggers.
• Intermediate knowledge of Linux a must
• Strong general IT Background with knowledge of Active Directory and networking
• Hands on experience with project implementations.
• Logistics experience, an asset

• Knowledge and experience using software versioning platforms (e.g. SVN, MS DevOPS)
Physical Demands
• Prolonged periods sitting and standing at a desk and working on a computer
• Occasional travel may be required
• Regular working hours apply for this position, at times, working beyond these hours may be required by business needs.
