Job Posting Title: Senior Business Analyst

SUMMARY
The Senior Business Analyst, EDI will translate the customer’s business needs and requirements into technical solutions, as well as coordinating integration projects for EDI solutions under The DSV E2E governance process. The position will require extensive collaboration with the various internal teams (Project Management, Development, QA and Support teams) as well as external customers and trading partners. They will be responsible for implementing project requirements into workable interfaces, enhancing existing EDI solutions, performing and writing test scenarios, enabling different system architectures to exchange automatic transactions, analyzing data interchange and customer technical specifications to deliver high business value IT solutions for both: internal and external customers around the globe.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Work as a liaison between the end-users/customers and developers to clearly define project requirements and document the resulting technical requirements.
• Support business and the organization to identify any possible cooperation with the EDI department.
• Maintain timely, efficient and proactive stakeholder communication regarding the daily tasks and projects.
• Communicate quantitative and qualitative findings from test results to the Development Team
• Documentation of testing results, and support procedures to address at-risk issues and to make sure the solution works as designed.
• Responsible for other reasonable and related duties as assigned.
• Development of EDI mapping specifications using specialized software, GEFEG
• Monitoring own workload and deadlines,
• Ability to share and co-work in development projects,
• Creating new and modifying existing technical documentation,
• Familiar with continuous integration

QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience
• Computer Science or related technical qualification, preferred
• Minimum 3 years’ experience as an EDI Business Analyst.
• Preferred work experience with IT project management.
• Experience in end-to-end integration testing, production implementation and post implementation support
• Good knowledge of at least one EDI standard: UN/EDIFACT or ANSI-X12.
• Knowledge of communication protocols: FTP, SFTP, HTTP, HTTPS, SMTP, and AS2,
• IBM Sterling Integrator basic knowledge
• Lightwell Framework basic knowledge
• Specification building, ideally with experience of GEFEG.
• In-depth knowledge of XML.

Language and Computer Skills
• English is the principal language for this position, additional languages may be required in other locations.
• Extensive expertise in EDI standards, particularly UN/EDIFACT and ANSI-X12, demonstrating the ability to navigate complex EDI landscapes.
• In-depth knowledge of communication protocols critical to EDI processes, including API, FTP, SFTP, and AS2, with proven hands-on implementation experience.
• Advanced proficiency in XML, XPATH, with the ability to manage and troubleshoot complex data flows.
• Comprehensive understanding of EDI transactions within Transport.
Physical Demands
• Prolonged periods sitting and standing at a desk and working on a computer
• Occasional travel may be required
• Regular working hours apply for this position, at times, working beyond these hours may be required by business needs.
