Job Posting Title: Senior Sales Analyst, Tender & Government Specialist 
Time Type: Full Time


 

The Senior Sales Analyst is responsible for providing strategic support to Corporate and Global accounts by ensuring alignment across Product, Sales, and Operations throughout all phases of the sales cycle. This role will manage commercial tender activities, support major account implementation, and drive business optimization initiatives. The Senior Sales Analyst will also identify and coordinate government sector opportunities to support business growth.

 

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Data Analysis & Strategic Reporting
•    Gather, analyze, and interpret sales and marketing data to provide actionable insights.
•    Design, implement, and manage sales dashboards, KPI reports, and tracking systems to monitor commercial tenders and government sector business opportunities, ensuring data-driven decision-making and strategic growth.
•    Generate customized reports and recommendations to support ongoing strategic initiatives.
•    Assist in process improvement initiatives by creating data-driven reports for leadership.

 

Client Engagement & Onboarding
•    Serve as the primary liaison between DSV Sales representatives and customers to identify opportunities, define expectations, and establish onboarding timelines.
•    Coordinate with Sales & IT teams to gather system requirements and manage EDI integrations between customers, vendors, and DSV.
•    Conduct demos and training on myDSV, eDC, and CargoWise1 for clients and internal stakeholders.
•    Manage the onboarding process, including client account setup, credit applications, POAs, and profile creation, ensuring a seamless transition.
•    Ensure proper communication of new client alerts to the relevant operations teams and escalate client concerns when necessary.

 

Government & Key Account Development
•    Identify government tenders on procurement websites and facilitate bidding opportunities.
•    Drive growth in the government sector by assigning strategic accounts to the commercial team.
•    Support the Global Key Account Management (GKAM) network, collaborating with local KAM teams to enhance customer relationships.

 

Process Optimization & Sales Enablement
•    Support continuous process improvements in sales operations and business processes.
•    Assist in developing and updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and implementation frameworks for new customer onboarding.
•    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance operational efficiency and sales productivity.
•    Provide support in updating Monthly Business Reviews (MBRs) and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) with market insights and competitive analysis.


Proposal & Contract Management
•    Manage and respond to RFI/RFQ requests from international stakeholders, ensuring accurate, high-quality, and timely submissions.
•    Facilitate contract management and proposal development in coordination with internal teams.

 

Quality, Health & Safety:

Supports organizational commitment to ISO 9001, ISO 45001 certification 
Perform assigned tasks to support DSV meets its objectives and targets regarding quality, health, safety, and environment and follow all requirements as set out in the DSV Quality Health Safety Environment policy.
Staff are required to ensure that their day-to-day activities embrace sustainability, Health and safety therefore reducing the impact upon the environ

     

    QUALIFICATIONS

    Education and Experience

    •    College or University Degree
    •    4 -5 Year of industry experience
    •    Minimum 5 years of experience in the industry
    •    CIFFA certificate, an asset

    Language and Computer Skills

    •    English is the principal language for this position, additional languages may be required in other locations.

    •    Microsoft® Office Suite
    •    Proficient in Customer Relationship Management tools (CRM)

     

    Physical Demands
    •    Prolonged periods sitting and standing at a desk and working on a computer.
    •    Travel optional.
    •    Regular working hours apply for this position, at times, working beyond these hours may be required by business needs.
