About the role

Seeking a driven and dynamic Business Development Staff (Japanese Speaker) to join the team at PT DSV Solutions Indonesia, a leading provider of supply chain and logistics solutions. In this full-time position, you will play a crucial role in expanding the company's client base and driving new business opportunities, with a focus on the Japanese market. This position is based in East Jakarta, Jakarta.

What you'll be doing

• Actively identify and pursue new business opportunities in the Japanese market
• Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective clients, understanding their needs and proposing tailored logistics solutions
• Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to secure new business
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless implementation of new client engagements
• Monitor market trends and competition, providing insights to inform the company's growth strategy
• Contribute to the development of marketing and sales materials to support the business development efforts

What we're looking for

• Fluency in both English and Japanese, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong understanding of the Japanese market and the ability to effectively navigate cultural nuances
• Proven track record of identifying and converting new business opportunities
• Excellent negotiation, presentation and client relationship management skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and across different departments
• Proactive, results-oriented mindset and a passion for achieving ambitious sales targets
