Purpose of the role
•    Reviews and analyzes Shipments and Trips in order to ensure timely corrective actions according KPI’s of the Policy
•    Eliminate loss making jobs
•    Assists Shared Services Center in preparing necessary information
•    Ensures and monitors that reported GP and statistical information is accurate
•    Ensures that Operations follows and adheres the DSV operational excellence policy
•    Engage in implementation and user training of Cargo Wise1, Micro Transport, Cargo Write and other TMS/ WMS. 


Key Tasks
1.    Manage Cost-Match team to ensure timely posting of all vendor invoices in the system and facilitate prompt payments to vendors. 
2.    Ensure the Cost-Match team adhered to company KPIs, conduct monthly performance assessment, and provide training as needed. 
3.    Coordinate with the SAP, CW1, MT and Webcost IT teams to resolve system errors on time. 
4.    Monitor the inter-company receivables / payables and ensure no force payments. 
5.    Perform monthly TMS Reconciliation of Cost and Revenue between CW1-SAP, MT-SAP and Cargowrite-SAP.
6.    Perform monthly Inter-Office Reconciliation between Road and Solutions systems with SAP data and ensure to pass all necessary entries. 
7.    Coordinate with internal and External Auditors. 
8.    Assist the SSC on Financial Reporting, Audit and Business Control 
9.    Monitor Job and department wise profitability on daily basis and communicate with department head to ensure to accurate the financial entries in the jobs.
10.    Coordinate with Operational Staff for all shipments related to the Air & Sea, Road and Solutions. 
11.    Ensure all Job related KPI’s are in line with targets including initiating corrective action points to achieve the KPI’s. 
12.    Ensure all unbilled WIP’s are billed as per Global KPI Invoicing 
13.    Monitoring of Unbooked Inter-Company Invoices and ensure to book on time as per DSV Global KPI
14.    Eliminate inter-company Force Payments. 
15.    Maintain steady Run-Off Percentage as per DSV KPIs. 
16.    Monitoring of FSCM (Financial Supply Chain Management) WB Query for disputed invoices and ensure to close on time. 
17.    Review Open Jobs and ensure to close as per DSV Global KPI
18.    Ensure Data Quality in operation billing related to the areas such as Job Costing, Charge Codes, Correct Dept. etc. 
19.    Ensure to match the Outlay related Cost/Rev such as Customs Duty, VAT and other Disbursement, and clear the balance sheet on monthly basis.
20.    Follows up on interface errors
21.    Transjobs and distributions: Analysis of transshipment and expense / invoice distribution between jobs. Reviews any request for correction of transactions between jobs
22.    Reviews correctness of statistical data, such as traffic direction: pre- on/carriage, custom clearance, transit, No. of Trips, tonnage, SQM and no. of pallets. 
23.    Profit Share controlling as per global profit share & handling fee agreements
24.    Implement and apply corporate policies, instructions and manuals

•    Profound knowledge of controlling

•    Profound knowledge of freight forwarding and/ or logistics
•    Understanding of Shared Services concept

Educational background / Work experience
•    University degree in business administration or similar qualification
•    Professional experience in freight forwarding/ logistics
•    Professional experience in Controlling
•    Professional exposure to accounting/ financial processes, preferably with audit firm

Language skills
•    English: fluent in written and spoken
•    Local language: fluent in written and spoken preferred


Computer Literacy
•    Profound knowledge of MS-Office products (Word, Excel, PPT, Outlook)
•    Profound knowledge of SAP
•    Good knowledge of pre-systems (Cargowise1, MicroTransport, Cargowrite etc.)
