DSV fulfils all UK e-commerce orders for Allbirds as well as retail fulfilment for Allbirds’ four shops in London. In this story based on an interview with Stephanie Elliott, Senior Supply Chain Manager at Allbirds, we explore the details of the warehouse operation by DSV for Allbirds in the UK market.

DSV's involvement starts from the moment inbound orders arrive as pallets at the Stoke-on-Trent warehouse. The process involves storage, fulfilment of e-commerce and retail orders, and the handling of returns with our team handling the quality checks on returned goods, ensuring they either re-enter the stock or find a purpose through donation.

Stephanie highlights the efficiency brought by DSV's eVisibility tool. Allbirds utilises this tool for self-service, gaining real-time insights into various aspects such as order volumes, inbound goods, returns, and daily inventory levels. The tool empowers Allbirds' team to maintain a comprehensive overview and make informed decisions regarding stock and product orders.
